The Local Link was created by a passionate husband and wife duo who understand the challenges small business owners face. We’re here to connect you with the community by providing an easy-to-use directory that features local businesses like yours. Our goal is to make every day a Small Business Saturday.
Our Story
The Local Link was born out of a conversation between Katie and James as they navigated the challenges of small business ownership.
As local business owners, we felt the frustration of juggling everything, especially when it came to marketing. After reflecting on the challenges we faced in our own business, we realized that other small business owners in the St. Croix Valley were dealing with the same struggles—lack of time, resources, and support when it came to getting noticed and growing their businesses.
So, we set out to create a platform that would not only promote small businesses but also bring the community together.
The Local Link was designed with one simple goal in mind: to help small businesses grow, connect with customers, and succeed.

To promote small businesses in the St. Croix Valley by making it easier for community members to find and support them.
We understand that small business owners are wearing many hats, and marketing often falls to the bottom of the priority list.
